Description

A terrace of three cottages, dated 1724, located in Williton. The cottages are built with roughcast over stone, and have a very shallow pitched asbestos slate roof with coped verges. Brick stacks are located to the left and centre right. The plan is a one-up, one-down layout. The cottages are two storeys high and feature three bays. They have late 19th-century two-light casement windows. Ground floor outer bays contain inserted 20th-century, slightly splayed, three-light windows. There are 20th-century glazed doors to the left, with flat-roofed trellis porches. A plaque is inscribed with the words "Rebuilt 1724." The cottages are primarily listed for their historical interest and group value with numbers 10 and 12 Catwell Street, which were likely similar in appearance to the cottages before being rebuilt.
