Description

Scutt's Bridge is a packhorse bridge that spans the River Frome. It is constructed of rubble Doulting stone and measures 1 meter in width. The bridge features three semi-circular arches, with the north-western-most arch having been later rebuilt using stone on edge capping for the parapet walls. Some stone paving remains, and there are two broad buttresses on the upstream side, located on the south side of the bridge. This bridge once provided access to Scuttsbridge Mill, which has since been demolished.
