3/52 Unidentified Chest Tomb, 9 metres South of tower, Church of Saint Mary - GV II

Chest tomb. C17. Ham stone, rectangular plan. Plinth sunken; recessed end panels, flanks have plain pilasters and recessed single panels, divided by double incised line; top completely hidden by ivy - presumed to be flat. Inscription very worn away, commemorates Thomas -unreadable-, date possibly 1639.
