Description

No. 10 Middle Street is a cottage in a row, mostly dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from ham stone ashlar and features a plain clay tiled roof with stone slate base courses between coped gables, along with a stone slab chimney stack. The building has two storeys and consists of two bays. There is a plinth, and above it are 16-pane sash windows set in plain openings. Below, there is a 20-pane sash window in bay 1 and a boarded door in a plain opening in bay 2, which is apparently no longer used as access is now from the rear. The interior has not been seen.
