Description
This chest tomb, located 10 metres south of the south aisle of the Church of St Peter and St Paul, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of Doulting ashlar with slate panels. The tomb features a chamfered plinth that supports a rectangular chest. On the south side, there is a slate inscription panel. The ends of the tomb are adorned with circular decorated bosses, and it has a hipped top. The tomb commemorates Stephen Andrews, who died in 1768. It holds group value with the church nearby.
