Description
Pitpear Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that was enlarged in the early 19th century. It features a rendered exterior and a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and a soffit board, along with brick stacks. The building has a two-cell plan and includes a hipped early 19th-century cross wing. It is two stories tall with three bays on the front and one bay on the side. The windows are mostly 19th-century three-light casements, except for a sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor right in the wing, and a two-light casement to the left of the central door. The entrance has a partially glazed 19th-century door. Inside, the rooms on either side of the cross passage feature chamfered beams with enriched stops.
