Description

This is a mid-18th century building located on the north side of Market Place. It is a three-storey structure built of painted stone, with a Welsh slate roof and a single brick stack. The building has two windows. The window surrounds are plain wood, without glazing bars. A three-light window on the first floor has a wood surround with a cornice. The ground floor currently features a modern shop front. Numbers 1 to 5 Market Place, alongside the premises occupied by D C Clark, form a notable architectural group.
