Description
This is a house located to the east of a public house, dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, with some refurbishment from the early 19th century. It is built of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone end copings and kneelers, along with off-centre and right end chimneys. The house has two storeys and two windows, with low proportions. The first floor has tripartite sashes with small opening lights, while the ground floor has Yorkshire sashes, all featuring glazing bars. There are modern boarded shutters and a plain boarded door beneath a small bracketed hood. A lean-to extension was added to the right side, likely in the late 19th century. The rear elevation includes only a glazed door, one similar window, and a tiny fixed light. Inside, the right-hand room has a heavy chamfered beam and joists, while the left-hand room features a moulded fireplace beam and beck.
