Description

Thordisa Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage located in Sandsend, Lythe. The building is rendered, likely over stone, and features incised lines. It has a pantiled roof with stone end copings and square kneelers, along with rendered chimneys. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. On the first floor, there are Yorkshire sash windows at both the front and back. The ground floor has small-paned glazing-bar sashes set in wooden architraves. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with herringbone boarding, and there is an attic window in the gable end.
