Description

This is a circa 1700 building, likely a house, situated on the south side of East Row in Lythe, near Sandsend, Langholm. It is constructed of large, regularly coursed squared stone, distinguished by a moulded band at the first floor level. The roof is steeply pitched with swept eaves, and has been renewed with Welsh slate. A brick chimney is located at the left end, and small rooflights are present. The building has two storeys and originally two windows, now featuring a plain, modern casement window. A central four-panel door is set within a wooden architrave.
