Description

This house, located immediately east of Souter's Cottage, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone and has a pantile roof. The building features a central hallway entry and stands two storeys tall, with two windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a four-panel door with a divided overlight, flanked by replacement 16-pane sash windows. The first floor retains original 16-pane sashes, and the house has timber lintels. There are stacks at the right end and on the ridge. This property is included for its group value.
