Description

Brinkburn Farmhouse is a mid-19th century house located on the north side of Brookside, Hovingham, North Yorkshire. The house is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone and brick, with a pantile roof. It is two storeys high, featuring one window on the first floor. The front entrance has a six-panel door with glazed upper panels, set beneath an overlight. A four-pane sash window sits to the left of the entrance, with a similar four-pane sash window on the first floor above. A chimney stack is located at the left end of the building. The property is included on the heritage list for its group value.
