Description

Brook House is a late 18th-century building that originally consisted of two cottages but is now a single dwelling. It features hammer-dressed limestone and a Welsh slate roof. There is a straight joint to the left of a 6-panel door that has a divided overlight above it. The building has 16-pane sash windows throughout, although the ones on the left are in altered openings. There is a blocked central window on the first floor, and wedge lintels are present throughout the structure. The right end stack and ridge stack are shared with Beck Cottage. The gable has coping, and there is a shaped kneeler on the right side. A 19th-century extension at the rear is not considered of special interest.
