Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Hovingham Brookside. The house is constructed from hammer-dressed limestone and has a pantile roof. It features a central entrance with a continuous outshut to the rear. The two-storey front has two first-floor windows. A boarded door with an overlight is centrally positioned, and to the right is a replacement sash window with glazing bars; a single replacement sash with glazing bars is to the left. The first floor has replacement sash windows with glazing bars. The right gable has a shaped kneeler, and there are stacks at the right end and on the ridge.
