Description

The Corner House is a late 18th-century to early 19th-century dwelling, originally two cottages combined into one. It is constructed of hammer-dressed limestone with a brick plinth, and has a pantile roof. The building was originally comprised of a two-cell cottage on the left, and a single-cell cottage to the right. It is two storeys high with three first-floor windows. The front features a six-panel door with glazed upper panels, and a blocked door to the right. Casement windows are set beneath flat stone arches. End and ridge stacks are present. The building is included on the list for its group value.
