Description

The Nurses Home of Raikeswood Hospital is a small villa-type house located to the north of the original hospital block, built around 1840. It is constructed of stone and has two high storeys with a slate roof and a symmetrical front. The centre features a pedimented projection that includes a round-arched doorway, with a round-arched window above it. On either side of the building, there are two 24-paned sash windows on each floor.
