Description

The farm buildings located approximately 10 metres north of Bridge Farmhouse consist of a barn with attached byres, a horse-wheel house, and a cart-shed. These structures date from the late 18th century and have undergone later alterations and extensions. They are constructed of red brick in English garden wall bond and feature a pantile roof.

The barn is two storeys high and has four bays, with a 1½-storey extension on the left side. It includes four stable doors with timber lintels in altered openings on the higher range, and there is a shuttered window to the left of the centre door. Ventilation slits are present at the far right and on the first floor, along with two inserted glazed windows on the first floor. The lower range has a stable door on the right side.

At the rear, the original horse-wheel house projects from the centre of the higher range, and a three-bay former cart-shed has been added to the right. The gable end of the horse-wheel house features two segment-arched openings with plank doors and a large owl-hole above. On the left return, there is a stable door on the ground floor of the lower range gable end, with a shuttered lifting door above. The buildings are included for their group value, although the cart-shed is not considered of special interest.
