Description

Normanby Bridge over the River Seven is a bridge from the mid-18th century, with a later widening on the downstream side. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a single span with a semicircular arch supported by battered abutments. The upstream side has a recessed area beneath a plain band, while the downstream side is adorned with a rolled hoodmould. A chamfered band runs beneath a plain parapet that has shaped coping.
