Description
No. 109 Town Street is a house and shop, now used as offices, that possibly dates back to the early 19th century. It has been altered and partly rebuilt in the 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed sandstone rubble, with the right side rendered and resting on a rendered plinth. It features brick end stacks, with the right stack rebuilt, and a concrete pantile roof. The building has a central-entry plan and a two-storey, two-window front. The entrance consists of a part-glazed door with an overlight, positioned between a three-light window on the right and a two-light cross window on the left. The first-floor windows are also of two lights. All windows are 20th-century replacements and have rendered lintels.
