Description
No. 34 Town Street is a cottage that likely dates from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The front and left side are constructed of coursed squared sandstone on a rubble plinth, while the right side is made of red brick in stretcher bond. The cottage features a central brick stack and a pantile roof. It has a central-entry plan and is one storey high with an attic, presenting a three-bay front. The entrance consists of a 20th-century board door, flanked by two large-pane sliding sash windows, all of which have timber lintels. In the attic, there are two flat dormers, each containing a two-light casement window.
