College. 1862. Designed by G T Andrews. Red brick with ashlar dressings and hipped slate roofs with overhanging eaves. Moulded plinth, first floor cill band, and second floor cill and lintel bands. Central 3 storey, 7 bay block flanked by 2 storey single bay pavilions. Central block, has central doorway, reached up 3 steps, with segment headed ashlar surround with raised keystone and segmental pediment. Either side are 3 paired, segment headed sashes with slightly projecting, pilaster surrounds with flat hoods. Above 7 smaller paired, segment headed sashes, with flat hooded ashlar surrounds. Above 14 smaller sashes with raised ashlar surrounds, with above each a small ashlar circle. Either side, 2 storey, single bay links with a segment headed sash in ashlar surround with flat hood, and above a similar sash in plain ashlar surround with flat hood. Beyond single storey pavilions, with pyramidal slate roofs, with pairs of segment headed sashes in slightly projecting pilaster surrounds with flat hoods and above single similar sashes with ashlar surrounds and bracketted hoods.
