Description

These two buildings, numbers 6 and 7, form part of The Crescent in Ripon. They date from the mid-19th century and are constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The buildings are three storeys high and feature continuous ashlar sill bands. The windows have elaborate architraves; those on the first floor are round-headed, with carved swags in the spandrels and segmental pediments supported by scrolled brackets. The doorways have panelled pilasters, round arches, and ornamented cornices.
