Description
West Lodge and Crowners Close is a mid-19th century building located in Ripon on the north-west side of Trinity Park. It is constructed of white-washed brick and features a hipped slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and is three bays wide and three bays deep, with sash windows that include glazing bars. A notable feature is the Tuscan porch, which has a full entablature, a door with two moulded panels, and a semi-circular fanlight, along with moulded imposts and voissoirs. There is also a five-bay extension to the west, which appears to be slightly older. Historically, this residence was associated with Henry Greenwood, who donated £1,000 to St Anne's Hospital for a new building.
