Description
This building is a former stable and granary, now serving as a farm building, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a pantile roof that has stone slates at the eaves. The structure is two storeys high and features three openings on the first floor. The rough quoins add to its character.
On the ground floor, there are external stone steps, two doorways with ashlar quoining that are chamfered, one of which has a board door and the other a board stable door. The first floor includes a board door and two shuttered openings, each supported by an iron tie-rod below. The building is finished with shaped kneelers and ashlar coping. There are single-storey ranges attached to the right end and at right angles, but these are not of special interest.
