Description

The Grove Hotel is a house dated 1757, constructed of roughcast rubble with an artificial slate roof. It has two storeys and two bays. The central entrance features a part-glazed five-panel door set within a moulded stone surround, topped by a frieze inscribed 'W A 1757' and a cornice. The building has four-pane sash windows, each in moulded surrounds. Notable architectural details include shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, and ashlar end stacks.
