Description
Selby College of Further Education (Brooklands) and Three Rivers Area Youth Office, built in the mid-19th century, is a notable red brick building that incorporates some grey brick and ashlar dressings. It features a pitched slate roof and stands two storeys tall with attics. The building is distinguished by shaped gables topped with finials and round-arched sash windows that have hood-moulds and keystones. The ground floor includes canted bays with balustraded parapets. The garden front showcases an arcaded loggia supported by Romanesque-style columns. Additionally, there is a three-storey tower above the entrance, which is adorned with a balustraded parapet and lions on the corner piers.
