Description
The Stove Rack at Ashton Mills is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of red brick, featuring occasional bands of darker headers and stone quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with double Roman tiles, and it includes gable end louvres. The building has paired brackets supporting the gutter. There are four windows on each floor, which are glazing bar sashes set in flush stone surrounds with segmental heads and keystones. On the northwest side, there are large central openings on both floors, also segmental headed. Additionally, there is a lower single-storey extension with a hipped slate roof.
