Description
The building is a mid-19th century, three-storey factory, formerly part of Court Mills. It is set back beyond Courtfield House. The factory is constructed of red brick with regular header courses, and features a stone ashlar ground floor with a raised plinth. Stone quoins and a second-floor cill band are also present. The windows are largely standard segmental-headed mill windows with central mullions, set within moulded raised stone architraves with bracketed cills and glazing bar casements. The ground floor windows are rectangular and have raised dressings and keys. There are five segmental arched entrances, two of which have been blocked and converted into windows. Steps lead to a first-floor doorway in the second bay from the left, which has a moulded architrave. Stone gutter brackets support the slate roof.
