The windows are sash style with glazing bars and are topped with rubbed brick arches. The building has a moulded brick cornice and parapets, as well as chimney stacks that have four circular brick shafts. A central projecting porch is adorned with a moulded brick parapet, and there is a dormer with a lead flat roof. The corners of the building are accentuated with pilasters. There is a later projecting wing at the southeast corner and a bay on the east side. Additionally, there are three-storey blocks at the northeast and northwest corners, a slated lean-to on the north side, and a one-storey wing to the north that features a castellated grey brick parapet.
