Description

This is a footbridge built in the early 19th century, located approximately 120 metres north-west of Mill Farmhouse in Ravensworth. The bridge is constructed from rubble and dressed sandstone and features a single segmental arch made of dressed voussoirs and soffit, which has herringbone tooling. Above the centre of the arch, there is a Gothic window head along with other carved stones that likely originated from Ravensworth Castle.
