Description

No. 4 Pier Road is a building from 1811 that stands four storeys tall with attics. It features modern dormers on a pantile roof and has a rendered exterior. The building has two windows with flat stone arches, and the upper floors have double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. The ground floor includes a rectangular bay window along with modern windows. This property is now part of No. 5, which is known as the Pier Hotel. Nos. 4 to 23 Pier Road are recognized as a group. A plaque on the building displays "H over BA 1748."
