Description

The rear premises of the Marine Hotel, located on Haggarsgate, date back to 1811 and are believed to have origins from the 16th century, although they have been altered over time. The building is two storeys tall with attics and constructed from stone, which is rendered with a gable. It features two windows that have 19th century and modern glazing. The roof is covered with pantiles, and the ground floor has been modernized. This building is part of a group of listed buildings on the east side of Haggarsgate.
