Description

Nos 5 and 6 Marine Parade are a pair of buildings with origins in the 18th century. They stand three storeys tall and are constructed from painted stone, featuring rusticated quoins and an eaves cornice. The facade includes three windows with moulded stone architraves and cills resting on tabs, with a band that continues above the heads of the windows. The first floor has longer windows that are adorned with moulded cornices and iron balustrades. On the ground floor, there are two shop fronts that are mainly modern, but they retain a 19th-century fascia supported by modillions.
