Description

This is a barn located approximately 100 metres east of Wham Bridge in Felliscliffe, North Yorkshire. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of coursed squared gritstone with a graduated stone slate roof. The barn has three bays and features quoins. There is a central cart entrance with quoined jambs and a chamfered cambered arch. To the right, there is a blocked byre door with a large lintel and quoined jambs, which are linked to the building's quoins. On the left side, there is a row of three slit vents. At the rear, there is a central cart door similar to the roadside entrance and an inserted byre door with a wooden lintel to the right. The barn also has bulbous kneelers and gable copings.
