Description
The garden and retaining walls located to the west and south of Paradise House extend along Paradise, Church Stairs Street, and to the north of East Mount Flats. These structures were originally listed as the garden walls to the Graham Sea Training School. The garden features a large area to the west of the house, which slopes down the hillside to the south and east. The southern section of the wall is buttressed on the exterior face, serving as a retaining wall. Constructed from stone rubble with coping, these walls date back to the 18th century. The wall continues without buttressing along Church Stairs and back onto Paradise.
