Description
23 and 25 Main Street are a semi-detached pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, with an addition made in 1812, as indicated by the date above the doorway. The cottages are two storeys high and each has two windows. They feature slated roofs and are constructed from coursed grit stone rubble. Number 23 has coped gables with kneelers and an altered brick ridge stack, along with modern sash windows and a door. Number 25 has Yorkshire sash windows and a boarded door.
