Statue and surround to pool. C18. Lead figure on ashlar pedestal, sundial and pool lining. Surround to pool: circular, lined with ashlar blocks and approximately 2.5 metres in diameter. Statue on pedestal in centre, approximately 1 metre high. Figure of an African man in feathered skirt on one knee and holding multi-faceted sundial on his head. Sundial, north side, carries painted inscription, 'per W. Freeman' and 'MDCCX...'.
