Description

No. 13 Market Place is a house with a shop, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick, rendered, and features a machine tile roof. The building has three storeys and three bays. The late 19th-century shopfront includes a frieze and cornice, and to the right, there is a round-arched opening that leads to a passageway. On the first floor, there are four-pane sash windows with stone cills, although the one on the right is blind. The second floor has six-pane sash windows with stone cills, with the central window also being blind. The building has an eaves band and stone coping to the left, which includes an end stack.
