Description

Nos 22 and 24 Church End are a pair of houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond and feature a pantile roof that is set at two levels. The buildings are two storeys high, with one first floor window for No 22 and three for No 24. The entrance to No 22 is located at the end, while No 24 has its entrance between the first and second bays, both of which have replacement wooden doors. The windows of No 22 are unequal sashes with glazing bars, while No 24 has 16-pane sashes and Yorkshire sliding sashes. There is a brick eaves band and two stacks located at the ridge and ends of the buildings.
