Description
Cricket Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features two first-floor windows. The corners of the cottage are marked by quoins. The openings have deep lintels that display herringbone tooling. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed four-panel door, and the windows are four-pane sash types. The roof is supported by shaped kneelers and has ashlar coping, with ashlar stacks at each end.
