Description
Newton Cottage is a house dating from the middle to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and has two windows on the first floor. It features quoins and openings with deep lintels. The central entrance is a door consisting of eight panels. There are four-pane sash windows. The roof has shaped kneelers and ashlar copings, and it is served by end stacks. A single-storey bay was added to the right side, and this is not considered to be of special architectural interest. The property was formerly known as Newton House.
