Description
The wall of the kitchen garden, located approximately 50 metres north of Birdsall House, dates from the 18th century and consists of two sections. The southern section is built of limestone ashlar, while the western section is made of brick with a stone coping. Both walls stand about 4 metres tall, with the southern wall measuring 40 metres in length and the western wall extending 90 metres. The kitchen garden is bordered to the east by Birdsall Stables and to the north by 18th and 19th century garden sheds, which are not considered of special interest. This structure is included for its group value with the nearby Birdsall House and Stables.
