Description
This is a medieval grave cover located approximately 8 metres south of the priest's door of the Church of St Andrew. It is possibly from the 14th century and made of sandstone. The grave cover features a coped section with a rolled cross and a sword on the right side. It may commemorate a member of the Fitz Hugh family, who were historically the manorial Lords of Finghall.
