Description

This bridge, located approximately 50 metres north of Newsham Lodge, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed rubble sandstone and features a single segmental arch. The parapets have segmental coping, and the north-west parapet ends in a stone that resembles a gate post. The bridge's surface is set to form the carriageway. It is included in the listing for its group value.
