Description

Boundary House is an early to mid-18th century house located on the north side of Village Street in Newsham. The house is built of rubble, with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a rear outshut, featuring three windows on the first floor. The facade has quoins. A central, part-glazed fielded-panel door is set within a raised ashlar surround and has bases. There are 20th-century casement windows with stone lintels and projecting sills. The roof features shaped kneelers and an ashlar coping. End stacks are present, with the right-hand stack external. This stack has been extended with cyma reversa corbels at first-floor level.
