Description
This is a boundary stone located about 100 metres south-east of Lane End House in Giggleswick. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of slate, measuring approximately 1 metre high and 1 metre wide. The stone features chamfered edges and is inscribed with the words "LAWKLAND" and "GIGGLESWICK," which are separated by a vertical V-shaped groove. The rear side of the stone is plain. This boundary stone has been listed twice in the past, including once under the parish of Lawkland, but that entry was removed from the list on 26 September 2018.
