Description
The Walker tombstone, located approximately 4 metres south-east of the south-east corner of the nave of the Church of St Cuthbert, dates from around 1741. It is made of ashlar sandstone and commemorates William Walker of Eppleby, who died in 1741. The inscription is framed by an aedicule featuring an open pediment.
