Description
Hutton Moor House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed sandstone and has a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and features five first-floor windows. To the left of the centre, there is a 20th-century glazed door beneath a rectangular fanlight, all set within a plain stone surround that has four narrow keystones above. On the ground floor to the right, there are three 4-pane sash windows, each with an ashlar surround and keystones similar to those of the door. To the left of the door is a large 20th-century plate glass window. An ashlar band runs along the first floor, where all the windows are 4-pane sashes set in ashlar surrounds. The house has paired stone gutter brackets with pyramidal ends and a hipped roof. There are three chimneys: one on the left side made of brick, one at the right end of the ridge made of brick, and one on the right side made of ashlar. A later 19th-century range is located at the rear.
