Description
Grange Farm House is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. It features squared rubble construction and a swept pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, along with a rear service wing.
Between the second and third bays, there is a part-glazed, six-panel door that is topped by an elliptical fanlight with glazing bars. This door is framed by a Doric doorcase that includes attached columns and a plain entablature. On either side of the door, there are canted bay windows with sashes. The left bay has a 16-pane sash window set in a flush wood architrave beneath a rusticated lintel, with three four-pane sashes above it. The house also features ashlar copings, end stacks, and a substantial stack on the ridge between the two left bays.
