Description
Ivy House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of brown brick in Flemish bond and has a 20th-century pantile roof. The building stands two and a half storeys tall and features two windows on each floor. A six-panel door is positioned slightly to the left of centre, surrounded by chamfered stone quoins and a heavy lintel that is carved with a keystone. The ground and first floor windows are 4-pane sashes set in flush wood architraves, with gauged brick lintels that include a keystone and stone sills. The second floor windows are smaller, with plain wood frames and 4 panes. There are ashlar bands at the first and second floor levels, along with ashlar coping and shaped kneelers. The house has end stacks.
